This tall, dark and handsome Thoroughbred was rescued from a kill pen in May of 2023. Filled with fear and anxiety he was covered in injuries indicating that he had been subjected to too much for too long. His initial vet visit put him at 5-6 years old and approximately 300 pounds under weight. His food aggression and his trust issues were understandable.
After 6 months of working with him daily, building his trust and teaching him good manners, he was adopted. Unfortunately, they could not give him the time and care that he needed and he was returned.
He was restarted and his training continues. Presently, he has been ridden on trails and in the arena. He enjoys a good trail ride. He goes over bridges and through water. He is willing to work on conquering his fears. He needs an intermediate rider, someone with solid horsemanship skills.
